HARDCARB TECHNOLOGIES P LTD. companies have been working on wear-protection since more than 60 years. By concentrating on wear problems in a wide spectrum of Industries ranging from ore processing to cement/power/aluminium etc, HARDCARB TECHNOLOGIES P LTD. has helped and assisted to solve a great variety of wear problems all over the world. This focus also means that VAUTID group has collected more practical wear-related experience than anyone else.
Dr. Rohit Shah, Managing Director of HARDCARB TECHNOLOGIES P LTD., introduced VAUTID products for the first time in India in 1983 through his former company and established a market for composite wearplates. These wearplates were very well received and recognized by the Industry as a �magic material� for fighting wear. In 1999, Dr. Shah joined hands with VAUTID Group to form a joint Venture under the name of VAUTID-SHAH HARDFACE PVT. LTD. to serve the markets in India and neighbouring countries.
In 2001, VAUTID wearplates were manufactured successfully for the first time outside Germany using the proprietary VAUTID Metal-Arc process. Since then VAUTID-SHAH has been providing advanced wear-protection solutions to almost all wear-prone industries such as iron and steelmaking, cement, coal-based thermal power, mining, construction, dredging, foundry, aluminium etc. to name a few. Since 2008, markets in Middle-east are also being catered from Indian operations.
