TTC MIDC Industries Association will conduct a Blood Donation camp in coordination with KAI Wamanrao Oka Raktapedi on 1st December, 2022 between 10 am and 4 pm at its conference hall located at Plot No. P-122, Pipeline road, Rabale MIDC, Rabale, Navi Mumbai – 400701.

We call upon all our members to actively participate in this drive by not only donating blood but also encourage their work force to come forward and donate blood and make this drive a grand success.

Need for blood donation camp:

•         Since blood cannot be stored for a long time, there is a need for frequent blood collection camps.

•         No substitute for human blood. It cannot be manufactured

•         Cancer/Thalassemia/Sickle Cell/ Severe anemic patients need blood regularly for their survival.

•         For emergency surgeries and accident victims also need blood transfusion.

•         Your blood can save Somebody’s Life.

Who can donate blood:

Persons between the age of 18-65

Persons weighing more than 45 kgs

Donation interval – 3 months in the case of male donors and 6 months for female donors

Who cannot donate blood:

Pregnant ladies, lactating mothers, abortion within six months, monthly period in last 5 days

Anyone undergone major surgery in last 1 year

Who has taken antibiotic or pain killer in last 3 days

Consumed liquor in last 24 hours

Have been afflicted with typhoid,jaundice or have taken rabies injection within one year

28 days haven’t elapsed from recovery for Covid patients

Water, coffee and biscuits will be served to all the donors. Donor card with a validity of one year will be given to all donors.

HIV, HBs AG, HCV, Malaria and VDRL tests will be conducted and any donor desirous of of having his blood report can collect the report after 7 days without any cost. If the report is positive for any of the above tests the donor will be personally be called for counselling.
